Most families have their own Christmas traditions that make the holiday special. In some families, the rituals may seem a little crazy - perhaps old Uncle Ed dresses up like Santa and insists on giving out the gifts one by one, as slowly as possible.  Other families cook the exact same turnip puff and jellied salad recipes that their great grandmothers did for generations, knowing that no one likes them! And there is almost always a "tried and true" ritual about choosing or decorating the Christmas Tree.

This year, the Peterborough Festival of Trees wants to hear about your "Craziest Christmas Traditions" or tell us about a Christmas memory that your family will never forget (remind me to tell you about the paper table cloth catching fire during my Uncle Howard's dinner grace...)
